Here's where we talk about us some more.

We really love computers. Most of our time is spent in front of them. You can find us designing, writing code, reading about the latest technology, wasting far too much time on Facebook and YouTube, staying up late enough to see the sun rise, and drinking a whole lot of coffee every day. We dream in Photoshop layers. We think in objects and methods. We are nerds.

What we believe

For a project to be effective, the people working on it have to believe in what they're doing and enjoy doing it. That's what we specialize in. For over a decade, we have been looking at problems and saying "that sounds like it'd be fun to work on!" instead of "oh boy, that’s going to be awful." We believe that, if we don't enjoy working on something and aren't interested in it, the end result will reflect that lack of interest and enthusiasm. It just so turns out that if we can code it, sketch it out, or make a jpg of it, we're totally interested.

What we want to accomplish

Our days consist of making software and design that people love to use. Our goal is to create software that works perfectly and is wrapped in a design that's so beautiful and simple, it fades into the background... Software that people are able to use without having to think about it. Computers are confusing and complicated: we want to change that.

Who we are

Plan8 Studios was started by Geoff Oliver. Since it's creation, Plan8 Studios has collaborated with many talented designers, marketing wizards, and code monkeys across the United States - and we continue to expand those talents by seeking out the best, most creative people on the planet. We are the crazy ones. We are Plan8 Studios.
